Personal Biographical Brief

Steve Staten was born in Lancaster, Ohio on June 13, 1959 and he became a Christian on July 31, 1981. In his career he went from Electronics Engineer, to being a Systems Analyst and eventually the fulltime ministry at age 28 in 1988. He has served as evangelist, teacher and elder in the Discipling Movement of the Churches of Christ. Steve completed his Masters in Biblical Studies: New Testament and Early Church from Wheaton College in 1996. Today Steve and his wife, Tricia, live in the west suburbs of Chicago and are the parents of three teen girls.
